ISRO launches 104 satellites, sets a world record

SRIHARIKOTA: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) created world record on Wednesday by successfully launching 104 satellites in a single mission. The earlier world record was of 37 satellites held by Russian Space Agency. The ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C37) took off on Wednesday morning at 9:28am from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota as scheduled. The rocket started placing all 104 satellites into their designated orbits after seventeen minutes of its flight.
